the bags went on the back seat - and no, had to get going, but he left a business card under my wiper - apparently he's a mechanic specialising in MGs and other classics.... might be worth getting in contact.

Saw a blue F-reg 240 estate with a white tailgate today near West Byfleet station in Surrey.

Just caught a glimpse of a 240 saloon in the market car park on Par Moor yesterday lunchtime. It was G reg. and looked quite well cared for though missing a rear wheel trim. It's good to see saloons occasionally, they really do have a very elegant line, real style.

Returning from a trip to Chatsworth on Friday 10th August going up the hill into Youlgreave met an oncoming identical blue 240GL. We were both on the lights to acknowledge each other. Great to see others out and about.

Spotted this white J reg estate at the WillStore depot on Royd Way Keighley, looked in nice condition but had part of the widscreen shattered near the tax disc.

saw a white K reg torslanda the other night in Torry, Aberdeen. didnt get a close look as i had a female companion with me and didnt want to bore her! i might go back and see if its still there!
