Shouldn't be a major problem if you get it done by a decent experienced LPG fitter - and around £1500!

Cheers

Pleanty of T4's been done both the 1.9 and 2ltr versions. No problems to worry about with them.

Price wise for a good installation you are looking for around £1200

Any thoughts on 164Es Yet ??
I would have a tank in the boot opp spare wheel Upright one , that way you would lose little space,

Thanks folks, few more hours overtime and I think it will be a wise investment.

I haven't seen many high pressure turbo engines that run on LPG (Skyline GTST is probably the only one) and the owner used to run on petrol when giving it the beans and just use LPG for runnning around, is this the norm or was he being over cautious.

Is there a noticeable drop in power/torque with LPG?

High power engines can be run under full load with LPG without problems provided the system is up to the job. I've done a few nissan 200 sx's with power output ranging from 250BHP and the Highest just over 360 BHP. Subaru turbo's have alos been another common conversion as well as T5's and T6's all running on LPG even under full load at maximum rpm.

Provided the system is correctly set up then there should be no noticable power drop. Subaru's actualy make more power on LPG due to the conbination of higher octane and better fuel misture.

The best way to do the 164E is with multi point LPG injection. Tank wise the best option is a cylinder over the rear axle. A tank on the oposit side of teh spare is an option but again a cylinder is teh best bet for that also.
