Default Wanted:: Rent/buy Winter wheels/tyres for V70 P3

Hi,

I'm currently looking for a set of Winter Wheels, am happy to rent a set for 28/11-03/12 or buy.

I'll ideally look to buy, but don't like the £1000+ quotes offered by Volvo.

My latest quote is 16inch rims with 205/60 r16 Goodyear winter tyres speed rating H for £483 fitted. I'd prefer a 2nd hand set for £200 ish, but I'm looking for speed rating V if possible.

I've got a set of Regor alloys with Vredestein 225/50/17 winter tyres on if you're interested? The wheels are a little tired / kerbed, so don't be expecting fresh out of the showroom condition, but perfectly useable. The tyres have about 3mm left on them, so best changed if you're thinking of driving in the snow.

I've recently replaced the Pirelli P7 cinturato blues that I had on my summer alloys with Vredestein All Weather tyres instead, so no longer need the winters.

If you're interested then make me an offer and you're welcome to them. Cheers

I may very soon have a set of Cassini alloys with Nokian winters all with at least 5mm tread, if that would be of interest ?

Hi guys,

Sorry for late response, house move and impending short euro drive meant i completely forgot about this thread!

I have picked up a new set of steels with winters on, got them on and used in Europe last week. Appreciate the responses and if only I'd seen them in time, i may have saved a few pennies...
