Fan motor awful noise at cold temps
My cabin fan has horrid sound at temps <0*C and after I drive a couple miles perfectly quiet.
Do I need to change the fan. Is a PITA. I've seen the video's. Thanks |

Some tried lubricate the upper little bearing - the one that gets seized - I'm not a believer because you can hardly get to it. But yes, the blower needs to come out - once out, undo the two screws with a rubber washer from the cover, pull the motor out, then remove and keep the metal plate with pins (controller) as spare
