Fan Running.

On our diesel v70 the fan seems to run for a minute or so when you turn off the engine. This occurs even if ran for a few seconds. Is this normal?

My V70 did this when the thermostat stuck open, the rad fan was on all the time and continued to run for two minutes post shut down, changed the stat and its been fine since but mine is a petrol - Mike

Can it sometimes be the air con system drying itself out or something?

Thanks for the advice. It's still under warranty. I might get it checked out.

Is this the cabin heater fan or the radiator fan you are referring to?

Sounds like its coming from the front of the engine.

It's on all the time.

if your A/C is on then the fan will be on after you have switched off, mine does the same
