Default couple of things for new owner.

Love my new 'to me' c30 D5. 2008.

1/ When I depress the accelerator there is a slight lag before the car picks up. This is very very slight and the car accelerates really well. Is this a normal trait of the breed. This is my first Diesel car.
2/ Is there an upgrade that doesn't cost a fortune with regard to the dipped headlights. The main is fine but the dipped ones seem a bit weak. Again is this typical.
3/ I purchased the car from a large independent dealership (not volvo) and they serviced the vehicle. Having read the Issues with regard to the DPF etc should I get the oil changed again. Would think the dealership would just use there normal oil they get in bulk, and possible not the advised one for this model.
Thank you for any help.

Regards

Ken

1. Manual or auto?
2. Ask in the dedicated C30 section.
3. Ask the dealer what spec oil they used and how much. If it's correct and they used the correct quantity, leave it.
