Flash Green V70R AWD
I own a flash green V70R AWD, first reg March 2004. It is programmed at present to deliver 350 bhp by using a 'box of tricks' purchased by me from BSR, (British Swedish Racing). This tuning can be applied or removed in 15min. The car has covered 39000 from new. I would like to know how much this car is worth approximately as unfortunately i have now got to sell my beloved Volvo.

About a grand, is cash ok?!!!!
No in all seriousness I recon10k since at that sort of money your into M5 and RS6 territory. Most seem to be around 6 - 7k so a grand or two higher would be about right? Pics?? Yours James

With mileage that low I'd say about £8000.
Manuals seem to be more desirable than the autos.

Many Thanks for that. I reckon I'll try £9750. Anyone interested let me know via thread. This one is Geartronic. The tuning gives better fuel economy driven carefully but also removes the controlled 155mph top end, also with 350hp available she is not for people of nervous disposition. Once again thanks for your guidance.

£9750 not a chance, more like £7000 if your lucky. There is no way your car is producing 350bhp with just a remap, for this sort of power you will also need a downpipe and cat back exhaust..

Hello strbryan, Yes you would have to be very lucky to get it for 7 grand!
It actually delivers 354bhp but I was rounding it down. Maybe if you contact British Swedish Racing BSR Ltd they will tell you all the technical stuff. The box of tricks that I refer to in my first post that provides the tuning via mapping would come with the sale, and costs approx £800.For details see link http://www.bsruk.co.uk/tuning_produc...m=Volvo&mo=V70 2000-2008&e=R |

But then begs the question why spend 10k on an old Volvo when you can buy a newer Jag for the same price with 400 bhp as standard?

Buy the Jag then and join the Jag owners club and post on their forum. These posts were intended for people who appreciate Volvos not for people changing loyalty for 46hp.
