My driving at the moment is not suited to a diesel, lots of short trips but as my 3 pot Focus's so called 'Lifetime' wet belt let go at 90k miles its a case of needs must.
OUCH - Good old Fix Or Repair Daily - The majority of the components that failed on my now sold Volvo had the curse of the blue oval association.

Well, we've all been there when flying blind whilst fixing modern cars.

Have you got access to a borescope to view inside the old DPF?

Missed that one,

The DTC's are:

P110200 MAF

P200200 DPF

Just to also expand on my logic to replace DPF, in this round of repairs there was also a Low Fuel Pressure DTC, this led to me replacing Fuel Filter (with blue dot one) and Fuel Pressure Sensor, which cured the DTC but got me thinking that if a passive DPF regen requires additional fuel then any issue with fuel system may cause this operation to fail, hence DPF clogging. Could well be wrong there but still learning!

Are there any historical or Amber DTC's relating to EGR flow?

So from a distance, the only thing that doesn't sit correct is that MAF DTC...and that does not mean it is faulty.

If the DTC is not solely from it being disconnected, have you considered a smoke/leak test?
I know you say everything is tight but if there is even a minute leak there will be an eventual issue - just a thought - everything has to be working on these DPF systems, everything.

This remote diagnosis is fraught with danger

That sounds like a plan. With the amount of vacuum related stuff I've been disconnecting etc chances are I've fouled up something along the line

Ok, have traced a vacuum leak to a disintegrating air filter hose pipe clip. I can't find one specifically for the S80 unless its part of the whole intake assembly. Looking around though the clip looks to be pretty universal. Wondering if anyone can confirm that this should fit?
