Fantastic, I'm loving the pics of the Imps! Remember them well from my childhood, 60s & 70s.
Come on folks, let's see some more pics of your first cars

My very first car was 1981 Alfa Romeo Alfetta GTV 2.0 and i loved it,What a personality that car had. Many cars between, but have to mention, that most fun was 1984 Maserati Biturbo with carburatted 2.5 V6,great fun and actually not as bad as people think.

My first car was a Black 1956 Austin A40 Cambridge (£35) in 1971,1200cc of pulsating power (42bhp...allegedly) and with a column change that was so worn I had to scrape the steering wheel for 1st and 2nd gear.Got plenty of practice with the starting Handle and of course had the obligatory clothes peg to stop the choke cable slipping 'in' when cold.
My favourite...possibly my Nissan Silvia Turbo...it was what the Capri should have been, had to sell because it was so effortless I could visualise losing my licence. Volvos I like because they are well engineered and (usually) fairly easy to work on because of that. cheers baz Library pic from wiki |

I think I've done it the wrong way round. I'll be in a 1.1 fiesta when I'm 40. |
