Default size of the exhaust pipe

now chaps, any one know for sure what the size of the exhaust pipe is that go's to and from the cat ?

is it 2.25" or 2.5" ?

or none of the above ? lol.

need to know so i can order me 100 cel cat.

One fitted to my T5 is 2.5 inch

mine is 3" but reduces to 2.5"

i've still got to get the other one off ? i have a decat pipe but i want the 100 cel cat in it coz i got pre and post sensors, the bottom stud bolt holding the pipe on at the turbo must be squashed or some thing ? the nut gets all the way to the end of the stud and then gets stuck and i mean stuck. tried a few things but i fear i we snap the stud ? its a right ****

thought bout that but, what size is that stud ??? maybe a bit of heat might do it ?

i would think doing it that way you would twist the stud tbh, i was thinking more along the lines of using a tap and die set if thats the correct one to rethread the end of the stud correctly
