Default 2005 xc70 Center Console Armrest/cup holder/12V plug removal

Hey guys! I have a volvo xc70 form 2005. I installed a grom audio box in my car. It's working great, but the cord comes out of a place I would rather it didn't. I want to route it through the arm rest compartment (drill a hole in the bottom to run the wire through). I removed all of the bolts holding in the 'Center Console Armrest/cup holder/12V plug' part. The only thing connecting it to the car is the 12 volt wire. How can I disconnect the wire from the plug and then later connect the wire with out damaging it? Thanks!

There should be a connector to release the wire - it's grey (at least on a 2002 model), see the first picture on this thread http://www.volvoforums.org.uk/showpo...9&postcount=13 for an idea, It's the grey connector hanging out of the rear ashtray hole. Ignore the rest of the wiring, I was installing aftermarket heated seats.

PS you've posted in the 'wanted' section

Default removing the rear plastic panel

Looking at the link reggit posted, I saw that the plastic panel in the back could be removed. Does anyone know how to remove it?
