Back from our holidays and the workshop has been getting some attention. This area of my workshop has been freshly painted and floor painted with Jotamastic 80. All ready to be fitted out and crack on with the Amazon panels. Also cleaned all my gutters and fixed some broken guttering.

Back in the workshop this weekend. Stripped the wings, brushed on epoxy in all the hard to get areas and then sprayed three coats of epoxy.
I'd had these sofa blasted, but there was surface rust under the etch primer so not sure what was going on there. I also asked for epoxy primer but the guy used etch, anyhow properly in epoxy now. Will raptor and colour topcoat inside next.

Sealed all the seams etc with epoxy and a couple of coats of raptor inside the wings. Needed to flash off thoroughly before I top coat so put them in my sitting room area of my workshop and stacked the stove up to keep the room warm. Topcoat them first thing in the morning.

Wonderful as always, can't wait to see all the panels come together.
Seems you've had quite a bit of bad weather up there! but a workshop woodburner always helps, nice idea and sofa is just extravagant😀👍 Cheers Steve |

Weather has been horrendous, loads of flooding about. The sitting room area is my wife’s influence and glad it’s there. I’ve had the workshop for a good while and extended and improved it over the years. The workshop is a L shape with multiple rooms/spaces and has three woodstoves, kitchen and toilet. We live in the city centre so having a workshop is pretty awesome, it’s only a 10min stroll to the high street or the beach so a nice location too.

That's inside the wings all done. Everything is as sealed as best I can so hopefully no rust issues later on. My mini spray gun was playing up which was a pain so I had to swap over to my big topcoat gun. The mini gun must have had stuff dry in the wee ports which is unusual as I normally really clean them well after use. Anyhow gave it a good clean when I finished and seems fine now.
My plan is to get all the panels at this stage. Next up are the boot and bonnet. Off to be social this afternoon with my lovely wife. Hopefully the rain stops.
