Default Bleeding Diesel System HELP!!!

I changed the fuel filter this morning using all the plugs ....etc. that came with the filter.
I even did it kind of speedy just so the fuel didn't leak back.
New Seal and was tightened correctly.
I started it up and due to me changing the oil also I didn't want to rev the guts out of it when it was still pulling oil around the engine.
It fired ran for 10 seconds then cut out.
You could see air in the outlet part of the pump.
I have managed to get a squeezy pump to try and facilitate bleeding and have managed to get rid of the air on that side.
But still no start and the battery is now struggling.

What should I do?

Cheers
Sean

I did google tow start volvo v50 and it came up with ... "Don't do it"

I managed to bleed back via the injectors and return pipe.
Then it burst back into life!

Then couldn't figure out why it wouldn't rev up.
But I had left the plug of the MAF.
What a numpty.

I had forgot how smelly and awful diesels were to work on.
Two showers later and I can still smell diesel!

Had the same trouble, only needs a bubble and it won't want to fire.
Went to my local garage and borrowed a hand pump but after what seemed like an hour wasn't getting anywhere. A mate of mine came over, and we connected it up to some jump leads, and while cranking the engine over cracked the injectors open one by one, nipping them up as soon as diesel started to leak through them. On the second or third injector the car started, and was left to tick over for a while.

Are you using the pump before the filter housing? You need to pull the fuel from the tank and pressurise the whole line.

Eh?

If you mean how many pistons are there in each of the brake calipers then one. Bear in mind that this thread is about bleeding the fuel filter though.

Hi. Did you undo fuel line from injector and then crank it until fuel did came out?
