V70 compass?

Been very happy with my V70 R Design.

Apart from the stupid, annoying, useless compass in the rear view mirror that's now been turned off.

Apart from that, I'm really enjoying the car.

Hardly ever notice it when looking in the mirror. Used correctly it does have its advantages,but in the days of Sat Navs I think it arrived too late.

I find it useful when looking to pitch up our caravan when we arrive on site either in cloudy/rainy conditions, like most of this last summer, or at night.

Are caravans like Muslim Toilets and they may only face a certain way???????

I was always under the assumption that the plots were laid out so you had to put the van a certain way. Obviously it's true what they say about making assumptions.

Depending on when you arrive you may get to choose from a number of pitches or if you go to a farm site there may not be any pitches just a field. Don't need it for setting up the sat its more getting the van to pick up the afternoon and evening sun; that rare beast that some say inhabits our sky!!!
