Default Engine fault codes

Hello all I was wondering if anyone can shed any interpretation on these fault codes please. Volvo V70 2.4 diseal 1997

I have just had a cambelt, waterpump and full service done. They also changed Aux belt and diseal pump belt. The also changed a cracked crankshaft gear.

The first code is 0718 Detuning control this code was almost instant they thought it was something to do with how the fuel pump was set.

I have just returned from the garage again and two other codes have appeared
0721-Glow indicator signal
0323-Mil lamp signal

Thanks
Lee

This is the warning light I have on if it helps

http://www.justanswer.com/uploads/eu...ambdalight.jpg

I have also been cheeky and phoned Volvo to see if they can give me any info they don't reconize the codes

I would also like to add the car passed it's M-O-T the week before and this light had never been on before the work above was done. I also noticed the battery had been disconnected because I had to re=enter the code for the radio.

Could there be a link between any of this and the light?

The car also starts and runs fine. The light does go off from time to time but is on more than off.

How are you reading the codes?

As for battery being disconnected and radio code, that doesn't have any relation to the Lambda light.

You say the light goes off and on? that would suggest there is an intermittent issue taking place, rather then a constant problem, but its hard to pinpoint unless you get the right code, yet possibly a wiring issue as they tend to cause intermittent codes.

I wrote the codes down when I went back to the garage. I wasn't aware at the time there was different machines/different codes so I am unsure ATM what code reader was used.

When the light first came on it was 0718 Detuning control. They then stripped what I believe was the dieseal pump and re set it they said something on the lines of a 2mm tolerance. The light went out got to the top of the road and it was back on again.

A couple of days later I took it back and it showed the three fault codes.

I was after as much info as possible because I am unsure whether to take the car back to this garage or try elsewhere to solve this problem.

I have just been out checking lose pipes etc on the off chance could anyone tell me what this is please. I found this pipe dangling from it not attached to anything. I know it's a long shot and is probably just like this but you never know. Its next to the main fuse box.

I had a feeling this pipe went there but with my limited knowledge I thought I had better ask thankyou all. Does anyone know what this unit is?

On a positive note the warning light as been off since yesterday so while the light as been off I have attached the pipe hoping this was the cause of the light.
