Part number 9463261? Hopefully it fits manuals too as I've just picked one up! I don't see why it wouldn't unless the pedal fitting is different, throttle spindle looks the same in pictures. Going to keep it in the boot as a spare.

When are you converting it to a manual anyway? 😝

I don't think there is a difference tbh, atleast not visually between the ones I've taken off of breakers. I've got about three throttle cables in a cupboard as spares for mine luckily as mine has stretched a bit but there's still loads of adjustment left in it.

I stole it off a Japanese guy's profile on facebook. He owns a 940 with 524600km like yours! And an S90 Royal Hermes.

Thanks for sharing. I reverse google searched the image without results. Then I searched only the girl at the back and voila. Guess the hat with the cross is a distinctive element. So, it's a manga turned anime called "Girls' Last Tour". I downloaded it and skimmed through the 6 books trying to find this page but I did not. Looks like the volvo is not a main character. It's about 2 girls travelling in a desolate post apocalytic world in a literal tank. They should have ditched the tank and proceed in the volvo!

Looks like the anime is only 4 episodes, I'm gonna watch it as it looks very interesting. Doubt the volvo is featured.

Further to the embarrassing breakdown last week, I finally received the new crank position sensor yesterday lunchtime - it was supposed to have arrived on Friday so that I could fit it over the long weekend, but heyho.

Inevitably it started to rain as soon as I'd got my tools out but I was determined to crack on, so about 30 mins later the old sensor was out and the new one in - fortunately its reasonably easy to access even though you can't actually see it. I still managed to collect a few cuts and bruises though

A few hail Marys were then said before I turned the key and... it fired right up Phew! So the 940 is back on the road. Just in time too, as it seems like the 850's radiator is in its final writhing stages of life - its leaking a heck of a lot more this morning, to the extent that once it gets home tonight it'll be parked up until I get to fit the new radiator. I'm wondering if I really need two cars - they're bleeding me dry

The version i always knew was.............

If it has tyres or tits, it's trouble!

That can be broken down to three alliterative words - Tyres, tits? Trouble!

That said, we wouldn't be without................

I once fixed a rad by splodging some outdoor silicone sealant on it.😂
Not pretty but didn't leak after covering several hundred miles.
