If your 2000 model is PH1 the airbag won't fit as PH2 use 2-stage airbags and PH1 are single stage airbags and have different connections.

If you remove your current airbag and it has 2 green and purple connections then it will fit, if it has only one black connection then it won't.

Is it an easy job to check? I've never replaced a s.wheel before but the one I've got is 150,000 worn to buggery and spoils the experience if you know what I mean. If it's a case of removing a few screws then I can get outside and take a look today.

You just need to remove two screws, one on each side of the steering wheel.

The airbag will become loose, then just pull it out and check the connection

ill get badge off later send me your address and ill post as for wheel i dont know how my mate changed it but he did some how all bits are here if you need extra stuff to change this is a ph2 how much do you want to pay in postage for badge ill put it in a padded envelope which are only about a quid

Silver painted plastic bumper and door trim?
Silver painted exterior door handles?
Chrome trim on boot lid?
