Default Battery Prices

Anyone bought a battery recently?

Checked mine yesterday and it was 12.02V.

Perhaps time for a new one....

Just want to get ideas of cost etc..

Thanks.

£115.00 from dealer.
I think fitting and coding was another £35 from memory.

I went on to kwick fit web site and entered my reg number into the searching up popped the battery for my car. I then place the battery code into google and hey presto I found the same battery being sold by others and a cost saving of more than £30 pounds.

Looks good but I wouldn't trust Kwik Fit to change the battery in my torch...

Hmmmm

http://www.molevalleyfarmers.com/mvf...ttery-12v-75ah

5yr warranty......kwik sh1t banking on you not keeping car more than 5 years, or them not lasting another 5 years ???

Personally I would put battery on charge and see how it lasts. Cooler weather short journeys will deplete a battery but a good charge often sorts them out.

Being in the narrowboat world (where batteries are a far more significant factor) I think you will find features such as 'Lifetime Guarantee' are worth a tad less than the paper they're written on.
