Yeh, looks like a cracker! Someone MUST be able to save it. Out there somewhere is one with sound mechanics but a 'shot body'. The two just need to meet!

Pity!
It's stunning ...
I'd really prefer to see life breathed into the old girl, but failing that I'll happily buy the rear decor panel off you ... have been looking everywhere for one ... if you don't mind the hassle of posting. Cheers, Anthony. |

NO!!! DONT SCRAP IT!
You can have the gearbox and clutch from my 440 turbo (Think they are the same?) for FREE! Just come and collect it, if you are local I can deliver it and help you fit it one weekend or during the week after work (doing shifts so would fit around that). Please don't scrap it - it's usually the body work that kill these cars and yours looks fantastic. You can sort the mechanical side but the body work can't always be saved! |

Does anyone know what wheels they are, I've seen them only once before and think they look the best ever put on a Volvo.

Hi,
It does seems a great shame to scrap a good conditioned body for anengine/gearbox issue. Particularly one so young.... Hope this gets sorted for you... And another Volvo is kept going.. Des. . .

The wheels are 15" original Volvo alloys called PICTOR. I also think they are the nicest available for the 400 series.
