Default 2008 C30 Rear Bumper Advice Needed

Hi All

In need on some advice on making my newly acquired 2008 Volvo C30 2.4i Petrol look more how it should. It drives great and is in almost immaculate condition, apart from the rear bumper. It has a twin exhaust bumper on the rear, and it is all body coloured apart from a slight section across the very bottom where the exhaust recesses are located, which is black trim. The rest of the bodywork of my C30 indicates I should have a black lower trim piece along the rear bumper (the side skirts, wheel arches and front valance are black trim), and judging by how far back the tailpipe is and the fact it points downwards, it should have the black trim with no exhaust recesses. I hope I’m explaining myself well enough right now and haven’t lost any of you.

I have seen a cheap bumper with the plain black lower trim section, but the upper section is a completely different colour to my bodywork. Does anyone know if the lower trim part can separate from the upper on either of the bumpers I’ve mentioned, so I can put the black lower trim section on my car? I’m planning on removing the bumper anyway as the car came with a tow bar fitted, but I’m never gonna use it so would prefer it to come off, it’s just extra weight I’m carrying around.

I hope I’ve explained my query well enough, and any comment and advice on this would be greatly appreciated.
