They didn't come blank; best thing you can do is rub the text off - I use a baby wipe and a bit of elbow grease and it works good!!

If you can't find a colored one I have a few black ones in poor condition I might be able to sacrifice. What do you want to operate with the switch?

Also, I have a couple of early style seat belt warning lights with the text instead of the icon which you might be interested in?

The ink isn't very durable - a quick rub with some white spirit takes it right off.

What I'd REALLY like to find, though, is a way to get the switches re-printed with symbols of my choice. I haven't found a way yet, though.

All you need is a printer that'll print a small icon onto clear adhesive vinyl.

There was a plain purple switch available too . Used in the Auxilary driving lamp kit ..

Never seen the Pass Heated switch in UK before . The heated seats were always on with thermostatic switch in the seat from 200 introduction in 1974 until 1981 when the switches changed a little to have rounded corners ,then they added black switches with an orange illuminated seat symbol instead of words by the handbrake in the rear edge of the console ..

I used to work at a printworks, and I couldn't get anything to print a small switch-sized icon in a small enough size, although to be fair we were mostly set up for large scale stuff.
