C70 convertible aerial

I'm going through my recently acquired C70, a 2004, and the ariel, whilst working, is a little bent.

Do I remember the mast being black when the car was new? Mine is silver and gunky so it's hard to tell if it's always been silver, or if the black finish has worn out.

If they were black, which would look better than silver / chrome, where is a good place to obtain at least a new mast?

My original aerial is silver

Just to add: when down the aerial mount and top button is black, but the mast is silver.

Not sure on colour but it's relatively easy to change the mast provided the big nut at the bottom hasn't corroded too badly.

E-Bay was the easiest place to get them - remember the Convertible has a different mast to the Coupe, they're not the same....
