Thumbs up Just purchased S60 D5

I have replaced my 2001 V70 140bhp auto with a 2003 S60 D5 163bhp which so far feels very fast after the V70. The car is an S spec but will full leather Sat Nav and reverse sensors etc. This drives far better than I remembered on the test drive. Two faults I have found the centre console lid pin is broken and the power steering tank is weeping. I am delighted with the car.

Well done Jim...i got the same car too and these beasties are so much fun to drive..the broken lid is easy to replace but it does cost about £55 available from dealers only...but you can always ignore the lid ....you should be saving alot of money on thwe fuel bills too now..

I understand the power steering tank leak is a common problem. Just had mine changed in my S60 to avoid having the fluid disappear when I'm in the middle of nowhere.

'tis indeed a known problem with MY04 (2003-4) and it should have been replaced under warranty within the first couple of years.

Is this leaking from the seam or from the cap ? mine seems to have been leaking from the cap. I cleaned the seal and it hasnt done it for the last few months, but then again I havent topped the PAS fluid back up again..
