Default Weeping Injector Seal

Hi gang,

I've noticed an accumulation of oily crud around injector #3 on my D5, where it meets with the head. I checked the clamp bolts was tight (it did nip up a fraction) but am guessing I've got a very slight leak past the copper washer down where it seats in the head. I know this is an easy fix (assuming the injector comes out ok) but have read from various sources that the associated high pressure diesel pipe should always be replaced if disturbed. How critical is this and would I get away with re-using my existing pipe if I were careful not to stress it while slackening the union?

Any thoughts or advice eagerly taken on board

I and many others have reused the pipes with no ill effects.
It's almost 2 years and counting with mine.
Everything's bone dry and rail pressure is the same as it was brand new.

Replacing the diesel injector feed pipes is a Volvo main dealer thing, don't lose sleep over it, failure is very rare!
