engine sound help xc90

hey guys im interested in buying this xc90 2005 but it has a slight erratic engine idle, ive posted a video on reddit here.

is a minor issue relating to something like air filter or spark plugs? or potentially something more sinister?

161kms on the clock, starts up good and drives well

Hard to tell on the video.

You sure it’s not coming from the aux belt. When I first had my v70 with the same engine the air con bearing and tensioner were shot and they made a proper racket. Generally the 5 cylinder petrols are pretty straightforward and simple to sort.

Ideally get a code reader on it and a mechanic to check it.

You may get more luck posting this on the v70 page as much more traffic there with the same engine. It’s pretty rare on the xc90.
