Any guide as to how to get that switch panel out of the dash?
If I remember correctly, you need a trim tool to carefully pry the switch panel off, the switches and unused JST pin connectors are then visible and the switches just pull off the circuit board.

Hope that helps

(You may wish to double check, but that's what I remember when fitting a driving lamp switch.)

Well I just nipped out, popped the cover off, and swapped it with the folding door mirror switch beside it, and nothing changed. Mirrors still fold, ABL switches on and off, but beam pattern does not change. So....switch? Or something in the brain somewhere?

Sorry, understanding your previous post better now!
Had swapping the switch worked- wiring etc problem.
As it didn't, problem is with the switch.
Gotcha.

ok I'm back
Took a punt on a new switch (£34) but it hasn't worked.
Presumably there's a controller for the headlight swivel and beam change, can anyone tell me where it is?
cheers

Ok, well I've just been under both front seats- on the driver's side theres some large electronic unit bolted down underneath which is a void with the heater duct running through it, and under the passenger's is the satnav dvd...I didn't investigate any further than that.
