Default 2008 V50 with LED Halos

Hello folks,
here's a pic of my dirty V50 with newly added LED halo's (or angel eyes).
90mm rings installed without cracking open the lens from the body.
Just removed the three torx bolts from the dipped beam (bottom one is a bit of a fiddle).
Pulled out the dipped beam assembly unit.
Removed the white plastic dipped beam bezel by un-clipping and pushing forward.
Squeezed the LED ring through the dipped beam opening after fixing x3 .6mm silver wire to secure.
Re-installed the white plastic bezel.
pulled the LED ring in to position and secured with the fastened wire.
Then it's a case of re-assembling the dipped beam and then connecting the LED wire to the side-light via the access panel on top of the body.
Job done!

Takes about 40 minutes a side with tea-breaks ;-)

very nice , like a piece of Jewelery , unlike the garish LED running lights appearing on german and french cars right now .. Volvo got it right first time with the 1976 240 :-)

I just switched them on for the first time in the dark, I am quite impressed.
You could almost drive around with them on and nothing else while in town!
Quite bright.
I'll try and take a night time shot tomorrow eve.

thanks all for your great comments :-)
