Battery question

Could someone please tell What’s the correct main battery spec for a V70 D4 auto 2012 ( equipped with stop and start ) and what’s for the auxiliary battery?

If you have a look on the Tayna battery website - it will give you a spec based on registration number. 99 times out of 100 it's correct.

If I remember correctly, an auto with stop start should be an AGM type battery.

Manual with stop start is EFB type.

Sometimes the lookups for batteries don't suggest correct one, I think I found it was saying AGM for mine, but should have been EFB as it's a manual.

Didn't look at aux battery.

Call your main dealer with your VIN and get the correct part numbers for both batteries.

I'd be curious to know the main dealer price for the genuine article as, in the past, I have found very little difference against an alternative part.

Start/stop cars have AGM, yes. We have an XC70 2016 with that feature.

Interesting you have it in a 2012. I have a 2012, but when I bought it you didn't get start/stop in cars with automatic gearbox, because the development wasn't ready. You only got it with automatic gearbox.
2013 in all models.
