Default Rear Parking Sensor

Have recently experienced fault on nearside rear sensor, this has been replaced by local garage (usually reliable).

Unfortunately the system is now working sometimes properly, but more often than not it is not working.

System is Bleeping as soon as reverse is selected (continuously).

Garage is not keen to investigate!

I would appreciate any suggestions before I return to garage in order to try and sort out problem.

When mine went this is what happened. If I put it in reverse when I started the car it worked but by the time I got to the end of my journey, every time I put into reverse I got a continuous tone. It was water in one of the sensors. Replaced it myself and all was good after this. It could be that there was an issue with more than one sensor.

Do another diagnostics dude - another sensor's playing up, I've had the same issue 2 weeks ago. You can do it yourself or go do a different garage if the one you use normally can't be bothered.
