Has anybody had this done recently?

I booked my 2019 XC90 in to get it done and they called me back to tell me it already had keyless entry (cheers I hadn't noticed) before saying it's not on the list of upgrades for my car. TBH I'm still convinced they thought it was a software update on the vehicle. They say they've got an enquiry open with Volvo Technical Support on it but I'm not hopeful.

Since I have kicked off about it it's been taken off the XC60 page on the volvocarsaccessories.co.uk page - quite bizarre? It was on there before as that's where I ordered it from! Why would they suddenly start denying people an anti-theft measure?

My 2019 XC60 was upgrade Oct23, Volvo Watford. Sounds like your dealer did get the wrong idea. Maybe give them the part nos. below. Is is chargeable.

Thanks a lot, Volvo UK (rather than the dealer) came back to me and are effectively gaslighting me that it's not available and I must have selected the incorrect model

"First of all I do apologise for the delay in responding to your query, and thank you for your patience.

I have been chasing one of our specialist teams who have advised:
I’m afraid as far as I can see, the requested part is not available for the MY19 which the customer owns. We do not have it advertised for this model year and so the customer may have selected a different model year when searching for this product."

I have gone back to them with your info, for what it's worth.
