480 bucket seats into a 940?!

Hi all,

Was rummaging through my friendly local scrap yard today,

He's got a 480 coupe in and I've kinda fallen for the front seats. (half leather)

Does anyone know if they'll fit a 940??

Probably wishful thinking, but you never know!

Hi,

You're mad!!

I don't think they'll fit straight "from the box" as it were as the rails will be in a different position.
You could, maybe, use the covers for your 940. But I suspect the 940 seats will be wider.

You might be able to incorporate the frame of the 480 seats onto the frame of the 940 seats though and weld the two together?

Anything is possible if you know someone with some scraps of fairly thick steel and a welder!

For e.g. I have leather electric seats from an '09 BMW E92 (M3) in my classic Mini!

Hmmm...

I might have them, not sure yet though as I've nowhere to put them 'til I get roung to sorting them out.

And they'll need a damn good clean as they've been there for a while and the sunroof's broke!!

Only wants £30 for 'em though!!

I know anything's possible if you're prepared to spend enough time/money, my Capri's got Manta GTE Recaros in!!

They were in when I got it though. :S
