Bugger, beggars can't be choosers then, what usually goes wrong with the original one as they could hopefully be repaired and be more reliable than the chinesium pps junk.

Most often the main pins melt the solder that connects them to the board. I have repaired some with that issue. When its been anything other than that I have always replaced rather than look further

To clear things up. The OP has already had a lot of confusion due to wrong information being given.
You might have also been confused thinking the EZK was controlling it (740 with K jet uses a EZK) |

I thought it was dry solder joints, I was going to say if it is capacitors etc then although it's a fiddly job they too can be replaced, dry solder joints however will be a much easier repair.
