Default Volvo s80 2.4 mk2 fuel pump in tank.

Hello all,

This is my first post and hope I'm posting in the correct place.

I have been searching for a replacement low pressure in tank pump and not having much joy. I wondered if anyone here has had a similar experience.
My car is a s80 2.4 mk2 (163)
Part number on the original unit is a 6G9N-9275-AE but have been unable to source a stand alone pump without the sender. After some extensive research I can find stand alone pumps for part number 6G9N-9275-AF according to parts suppliers does not fit my car, but looks like a identical pump to the one I need.
My question is will this one fit and does anyone know what the difference is between the "AF" & "AE" are at the end of the part numbers. As I say the pump units themselves look identical.
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Can’t help you on the specifics of the part numbers but it’s more than likely a ford part, can you cross reference that way? Do any of those numbers mean anything to a ford parts guy? Often cheaper as well than volvo for the same bits
