Default Volvo 440 Fog Lights Not Working

I decided the other day to replace the rather dull dash lights on my 1994 440 GLT the other day.
It involved removing the instrument cluster and surround which includes the headlight/fog light switches.

When I reconnected everything however, the front fog lights seem to no longer work. As also the heated rear screen light doesn't light up so I imagine this may no longer work.

Just wondering if anyone could suggest anything - is it likely to be switch related? Battery was fully disconnected at the time, so I don't think it's fuses.
Any help greatly appreciated.

Worth checking the fuses, obviously.

But another thing to try:
Turn on each switch and press firmly on the half way point where the switch rocks.
One of my 460s does this sometimes and this always sorts it.
