Don't think I could cope with the noise at idle - that is double the recommended max!
Have you played with the top nut?

No, I have not touched it and would not consder doing so without some form of manual to hand, as I have seen advice on the d24 list that it should be left as is. I think that hawaianblue or craig may have, but they have not reported on their experiences.

I have mine back to the normal setting, as its fun to have the acceleration power, but the driver behind you will think that your car is the cause of global warming
just to be shure where is the screw

Default fuel pump

The slotted fuel enrichment screw as shown is usually covered with a plastic sleeve. Only make small adjustments then drive to assess.. A possible problem with too much fuelling is that as the injection time increases a stage is reached where fuel is still burning when the exhaust valves open, which makes for high exhaust temperatures, already around 1100C and not apparently a good thing.
The nut on top of the anaeroid apparatus has to do with a plunger which goes up and down according to the turbo boost. There is no point in adjusting it unless the turbo boost is increased, just as presumably there is no point in increasing turbo boost on its' own without increasing fuelling.
