  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

Default Engine oil leak

I just got a 08 v50 2.4i yesterday , and I find some oil leaking from the bottom right of engine near suspension ,Im a newbie of Volvo cars no idea which parts is it
Can anyone help?Can I fix it by myself.

The pics are not great but it looks like the cam belt cover, it looks like grease coming from the drive boot rather than an oil leak. Can you confirm if it is oil or grease?

No oil on the ground,it naybe grease ,Ill check in the holiday, anyway thanks a lot.

Checked today,clean it up,run a while,no oil,it just a grease!

Not so bad then. Inspect the boot for any nicks or splits and see if the clip is tight. Replace as nesecarry.
