!6"+ disks too big for 17" calipers!
Time for a moan!
Bought myself PFS disks for 16"+ disks as I have 17" rims. All the nuts eased off easily, swapped one disk and pads over, it was all going too easy. Tried to refit the caliper and no amount of jiggling got the bolts to line up. Offered the old disk up to the new and sure enough they were smaller My 2001 V70 2.4SE was an ex fleet car so I'm sure the 17" Almathea's are what it left the fact with, yet the new 16"+ disks are 305mm and my original disks are 286mm which are supposedly for 15" rims. Aargh! A 2 hour journey to swap them over, that's if PFVOnline will swap So. if you are inspired to change your disks yourself have the wheels off and measure up before you order! |

Wise plan, IIRC only the T5 and 2.4T have the 305mm brakes.
I had mine upgraded, you just need new calliper carriers... job done.
