200 Series General Forum for the Volvo 240 and 260 cars

  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way
  • AOL Customers: Make sure you check the 'Remember me' check box otherwise the AOL system may log you out during the session. This is a known issue with AOL.
  • AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net users. Forum owners such as us are finding that AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net are blocking a lot of email generated from forums. This may mean your registration activation and other emails will not get to you, or they may appear in your spam mailbox

How do I delete a post? There's no option to edit it or delete that post, I put this one in the wrong thread.

I think the mods have to delete the post, it's not offensive or anything just obviously in the wrong place so they may leave it or perhaps remove it in the interests of cleaning the thread up.

I'd hope that mods delete my post because it ruins the look and mood of this post. A clean up would be nice.

But I think the post you put here by mistake really says something about why you'd want to go touring in an old Volvo rather than a newer one with lots of electronics...

Very few of us have the metalwork skills and patience that you've shown. You should go ahead and buy more rusty Volvos.
