Default 18" alloys for XC70

Looking for a set of 18" alloys for the XC70, with or without tyres, Mint or for refurb (and anything in between).

Keep your sidewalls! Miss our 60 (or was it 65?) profiles on our old XC70.

For a moment I got quite excited that I'd had a reply...

No, mine are 235 55 17

Moving to 18's is only a 5% reduction in tyre wall to 50 profile.....
My plan is to keep the current set up of Sargas and the 235 55 17 Pirelli Sottozero winters in the garage then fit a nice set of 18's such as the Merac with summer tyres for the next six months or so, then swap back....

OP, yes that's a 5% numerical reduction - the actual reduction in sidewall height is something over 10%.

I think these drive more nicely on deeper sidewalls, especially on UK roads that's all.

Having driven extensively on both, I disagree.
Depends on your definition of 'drive' really.

If one wanted to 'drive' one wouldn't use an XC70, shirley?
