I replied direct to your Hotmail account with answers and piccys.
Yes, full Volvo History, and the proper interval ones, not just a generic annual service.
I've even done silly things like replacing the battery on age, not because there was anything wrong with it.
Never had any body damage that I'm aware of, and I've polished it many times.
Nose does have some very minor stone chip damage, but you need to look hard.
2 alloys do need some TLC, nothing drastic, just scurfing from granite kerbstones.
I had genuine mudflaps installed, and it also has the string blinds to the rear.

I'm quite surprised actually. I thought that VOC members would be ripping my arms off for a car like this!
I think that as a few others have commented, besides the high running cost of a T6, the asking price seems high as well. My MY09 D5 might have 3x the mileage, but it has a good spec and I would only expect half of that price in a PX.

Hi All,
Well, I've had a good think about all you have said here.
I'm still of the opinion that if you wanted to buy this car from a Volvo Dealer you would be paying upwards of £16,000 for her, however, I'm not a Volvo Dealer, that's true.
I did think that a £4000 saving over a Dealer price would be attractive, but you guys have told me that it isn't.

So, with that in mind, I going to reduce the asking to £10,000. That's a hell of a lot of car for that sort of money, a classified on E-Bay with twice the miles and no Polestar went for £12k recently.

Does that make it interesting?

Damn, i wish i'd seen this last month. I just bought an XC70 T6 to replace my 99 V70 T5. i was really after a newer T5 as i didn't really see the need for AWD but every time i see a V70R i change my mind, but they do seem to sooo much more money than an equivalent T5.
Your car looks to be good value compared to a couple of R's I saw advertised recently.
An 09 V70R auto with 63k in boring silver for £12900, and an 03 (!) V70R manual with just 38k ish in mint green (flash green?) for £10995. Nice spec but a lot of money for a 12 yr old car.
i ended up with my 2010 XC70 T6 auto with just 45k, and paid just under £15k.
More than i wanted to spend but it's got such a good spec, they don't come up that often. And the T6 engine is pretty good eh?
I'm still getting used to the size of the XC compared to the 'V', i realise they're the same length / width but it just seems so much larger, more presence.
So your V70 T6 AWD should really be the best of all worlds (apart from MPG & off road ability!)

Good luck with the sale Nick, there must be some more like minded people out there.
Stuart.
