Technically I believe they would fit on the hub, so in that sense yes. However, they have a different offset so you need to check your current wheels here:

That's as much as I know, the rest is a judgement for you to make!

Hello Simon, yes they are the correct fitment for a 2009 V70. If you currently have an R design V70 with 18" wheels they are a direct swap, same 55mm offset. You will have the same width of wheel and width of tyres (i.e. same grip level) but you will get a less harsh ride with the 17". The tyres are 245/45/17 Michelin Primacy HP. If you look at my album in my profile you'll see the wheels on my V70 when I collected the car new from the dealer in October last year. The wheels (and for that matter the tyres) in the album are the actual ones I'm selling.
