Overdrive question
Hi,
I've popped in from the 'blinkin' ancient section' on the forums (amazons, pv's etc). I have just picked up an m46 box with attached j-type o/d. I was wondering whether the overdrive itself can be swapped onto an m41 gearbox as found in certain amazons/1800s etc. Thanks, Dave

You could see if Rob at Amazon Cars in Suffolk can answer this. I was always desirous of an M41 when I had a 144 with an M40, but you're one stage further on. Does the overdrive on an M46 have a better gear ratio?
