Volvo 245 GLT estate spares/parts.

Hi All,

Twelve years ago i brought this Volvo for towing my car trailer and as a general workhorse. I used it for a while until it got replaced with a diesel estate. The car was still Moted and Taxed when it got parked and still ran perfectly. I always intended doing something with it but never did.

Anyway i have deceided to scrap the car and thought that maybe some people on your forum may need some bits before it goes.

I am based in Huntingdon Cambs.

The car is a Volvo 245 GLT estate, registered April 1983, it is 2315cc fuel injection 4-speed manual overdrive.

If anyone is interested in any parts give me a phone and i will check the items out that you are interested in, give you an accurate description over the phone and take pics where possible.

You guys on here will know roughly what bits are worth to you so within reason you can tell me what you want to pay, i am not looking to sell bits at inflated prices just hopefully help some people keep their cars on the road and get a few quid for myself.

The car has got electric front windows, central locking, power steering, a good blue cloth interior, rear boot liner.

As you may guess from my user name i am into american cars and hotrods and i can always be found on the Rods'n'Sods forum, feel free to have a quick look around if you want to get a better idea of the sort of person i am.

nearside wiper arm.
offside rear bumper top trim in black.

I had an almost identical car many years ago, and broke it. Now I really wish I had kept it and restored it!

An '83 GLT is the jewel in the Volvo 240 series crown...
