S40 15" alloy wheels
Does anyone know where I can get a secondhand,6-spoke alloy wheel, in good condition, for my '98 2-litre S40?
Also, for information, when was the so-called Phase 1 S40 phased out (oh dear!)and what is the difference between the Phase 1 & 2 models? Thanks. |

RE: S40 15
When you say 6 spokes do you mean them with the centre cap in the middle if them.
I have just put some 17in alloys on my S40 and might be intreasted in selling my old wheels. They have come off a 98m/y car all the wheels are round (Not bent) none of them are kerbed. 2 of the centre caps could do with replacing cos i was a little hevey handed with the steam cleaned and took some paint off them. Drop me an E-Mail if your intreased and ill get some you some pictures of them. The phase 1 models ran from 1996 until 2000 and the phase 2 models are 2001 on the main differance is the front and rear bumpers and the rear lights. The interior and dash is also differant. The phase 2 models also have slighty larger wheel archs and the suspension has also been tweaked slightly. |

RE: S40 15
Craig,
What 17"s do you have? I would like to see a picture, as I am thinking of buying some 17"s myself in the next month or so. Of course this would mean a set of 16" Gaspra alloys would be up for grabs! but these are not the spoked design so no use to this thread! Thanks James |

RE: S40 15
I have Mille Miglia HT3's running 205/40/17 tyre's, the car is also lowered 40mm on eibatch spring's.
I wasn't sure about them when i first fit them but now i've had them a week they have grown on me and i'm glad i chose them. Just another point i can still get full lock without scrapage and even with a full load in the back 3 people and my tool box in boot the wheels don't catch (just the exhaust over large speed bumps). I don't have any pics at minute but i will have soon. |

If you are interested I have a set of 17" alloys that I used to have on my S40 that I'm selling for a reasonable price. They are 205/40zr/17 League Integra A2 with goodyear eagle F1 tyres. I also have some pics. |
