Default XC90 rocker leak

Looking for some advice….

I currently have a 2018 XC90 D5 which after being in for a service with Volvo, was highlighted as having an oil leak from the rocker/cam cover. The good news is it’s covered under my warranty. My question is should I get anything else changed whilst the car has been partially dismantled (and paid for by Volvo)? Potentially stupid question I know but thinking prevention may be better than cure with only 8 months left on the warranty….

There isn't much dismantling involved - they will remove the cam cover and reinstall it with a new gasket. I suppose it would be wise to suggest they check on what may have caused the leak - eg. PCV system..

It's more involved than you might think - approx £750 inc parts (not iike the 50p gasket I had on my first A series mini). But agree ask them to check for cause - I had rocker gasket replaced under warranty at 2.5yrs, then had camshaft oil seals replaced at about 4yrs (Volvo 95% contribution), and then had failed turbos at 6 yrs. Maybe related... maybe not...
