Default Fitting Outer track Rods on XC90

Hi - I'm about to replace both left and right outward track rod ends on my 2016 Volvo XC90. Im doing my front pads and discs anyway so thought I would also tackle the track rod ends at the same time. Do you think I will need a Ball Joint Seperator to remove it and if so, what one would you suggest?, that would fit. Also as Im repalcing the track rod end completely, could I just use a fork type seperator. many thanks.

Try the old fashioned two hammer method. It helps if you have an assistant to gently lever the arm away from it's seating so it does not pop back in when you are not looking.

I would just go for the old pickle fork separator if you're putting new ones on
