XC90 Passenger headlamp parts
Hi
I have an XC90 which was a CAT D and it's all good but the passenger headlight is constantly dipped. It works perfectly but I wasn't able to adjust the beam. I took it into an MOT centre and they've opened it up and inside the bit behind the bulbs (forgive me I'm not technical at all) they found that the bit that holds the unit for the lights is just loose and hasn't got a pin to keep it in place. Does anyone know where I could get a pin or the bit that holds it together as I'm loathe to pay £400+ for a new headlight when it's otherwise functioning absolutely perfectly. Only other issue is that I get the "Anti skid temporarily off" warning and then it goes away and the DTSC is then on. Sometimes the "Anti skid service required" light comes on and it switches off the DTSC and if I switch the ignition off and on again it goes away too with no problems. Do you think it sounds like an electrical issue or a real problem (as it doesn't happen all the time)? Thanks all |
