Afternoon , may I ask , is your car doing short journeys at the moment ? .if so my first port of call would be to clear the code & drive at speed on a motorway or dual carriage way for 20 minutes or more . It may well be that the catalytic converter is clogging up as it is not getting hot enough to clear any deposits . Running in a lower gear & at higher revs also helps generate more heat & greater gas flow , just don't go silly !!
I regularly have petrol cars with similar issues during MOT emission testing , oodles of revs & several minutes normally rectifies the issue Hope it helps

Nox trap 2.4D
Had engine warning light come on in my C60 2.4D My main dealer wanted to charge £130 just to plug it in the diagnostic computer plus any subsequent repair costs. Local guy was ably to do this for £30! And it was the nox trap fault. However warning light went away after the check and has not returned yet (2 months) so have ignored it for now. Don’t know what a replacement cost would be.
I have also heard the suggestion to run the engine at higher temperature if only doing short journeys which sounds logical and would relate to my use too. |

Diesel’s don’t like short journeys.
