Unhappy Trip meters T1 and T2

On my new V70 MY11 both trip meters T1 and T2 are constanly measuring distances irrespective of which one is selected to display on the dashboard.

Is that correct ?

I can't understand why you would want two trip meters working continously when you can re-set the one on display by pressing the button. I was expecting that the one not on display would stop so you can recall your last distance measured for example since the last fill up to compare to the currect view.

yeh thats right. I use one as a long counter to measure miles per tank, then the other to measure shorter single journeys (distances for work etc)

I find this a really useful feature, able to measure two separate distances at the same time.

I recently used t2 for my total 'holiday' miles and t1 for miles covered on a tank of fuel, if that makes sense?!

Agree 100%. Current V70 doesn't have this, but my new one will. It will be good to get two trip meters back as it's not something I've had since a VW Sirocco about 20 years ago - there's technical progress!
