Default Drl?

I once had a P1 and the marker lights could be set to be permanently on in lighting switch position O when the engine was running.

I don't see an option for this with the P3. Is that correct or is there an option in VIDA?

On the P1 there was a switch built into the headlight switch you could operate with a screwdriver.... not so on later models. They can be switched off, some can be done with VIDA, some require a software update. Not sure what the case is for the P3 V70.

You require Vdash- If you have a VIDA/Dice unit, you are half way there.

Unfortunately, It costs about £15-20 and having to have the laptop hooked up to the car for around 24-36 hours while it decodes the CEM.

You will then have the option of turning off/on the DRL or set it to any configuration you wish.

If however your DRL's are already off on position 0, I suspect your CEM may already be decoded and has been modified. You might not need that 24 hour decode.

Obtain Vdash, and hook it up. You can probably scan it for free and see if the CEM is unlocked.
Youtube "Volvosweden" he has done a few vids on how to fiddle with Vdash.

Thank you for the replies. I'll have to get into it when I get VIDA and DICE set up.
